RMUTL offers affordable housing options for its students across all six of its provincial campuses (Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lampang, Tak, Nan, Phitsanulok).

Below is a summary of typical dormitory facilities on offer:

Old Dormitory Building

  • Each room accommodates three students.
  • Around 30 students share each floor.
  • Approximate total capacity: 120 students.

New Dormitory Building

  • 1st floor: designated for students with disabilities — 2 students per room, housing 8 students in total.
  • 2nd to 4th floors: each floor houses approximately 42 students (3 students per room).
  • Approximate total capacity: 134 students.

These facilities reflect RMUTL’s commitment to providing cost-effective, student-friendly accommodation across its network of campuses.

Affordable Housing for Employees

RMUTL campus accommodation to support the well-being of its faculty, staff, and university employees.

RMUTL manages its employee housing based on the following principles:

Free Accommodation:
Housing is provided at no cost to eligible employees to help reduce their living expenses and enhance their quality of life.

Priority for Long-Distance Commuters:
Employees whose residences are located more than 15 kilometers from the university are given first priority in housing allocation to lessen travel burdens.

Reducing Environmental Impact:
Offering on-campus housing helps minimize daily commuting and contributes to lowering overall carbon emissions.

Through this housing support system, RMUTL fosters a more convenient, inclusive, and environmentally responsible living and working environment for all employees.
